Plecter Labs is relieved from its obligation of shipping in all accidental / force majeure cases and act of God. As an example, total or partial strikes, floods, fire or other sorts of accidents (in general), natural catastrophies (in particular) are force majeure / act of God situations.
 
In the case of shipping outside of France, Plecter Labs is relieved from responsibilities in the case of non respect of local (destination country) regulations and customs. Customs import duty and associated fees are under the responsibility of the customer. 
 
Delays:
We process orders once or twice a week. Additional delays can be faced in case when a new product is put for sale, the demand generating an important order number that we generally fulfill in 2 or 3 weeks.
 
 
Shipping:
The Customer is responsible of the choice of the shipping method that best suits him. Due to the very low weight of most of our items (<100 g) we tend to ship a lot with first class mail / small packets. We also provide fully insured parcels with tracking but the flat rate policy of that service (up to 0.5kg for the first price slot/offer) is often not the best bargain for a single board. Still, the Customer can choose which one he/she prefers.
Plecter Labs cannot be held responsible for damage or loss occuring during the shipping of the purchased goods, insured shipping methods are provided to cover those issues (which are extremely rare).
No order refund or replacement can be offered if the selected shipping method isn't insured.
 
 
Domestic Shipping (within France and french territories)
We propose 3 shipping methods for France / domestic shipping
 
• Registered First Class mail / small packets - It has tracking but no insurance. Very cost effective.
• Insured Colissimo. Signed for, instured and tracking. We recommend this shipping method when ordering 2-3 CF or more.
 
 
International Shipping:
We propose 2 shipping methods for international shipments. Indicated delays belows are INFORMATIVE ONLY, we do not control the postal services.
 
Registered Small packet / First class (priority) mail. Tracking, but *NO* insurance. Relayed in the destination country by the local postal service (usually). Varying delays, 7-21 business days, possible delays up to 2 months or more during festive season like Christmas. The cost for a single board is < 5€. Registrered Mail tracking is very basic. It will be flashed and validated at the Post Office then will not necessarily update accurately along the parcel trip. It will be updated at least on delivery to confirm the proper reception of the goods which is its primary goal.
International Colissimo : signed for, tracking and insurance. A tracking number is provided to the customer, insurance to the full amount of the order. Relayed usually by EMS (Express Mail Service) in the destination country. Varying delays, usually 5-15 days. The cost for a few boards is in the range of 15 to 30€ depending on the destination country (EU v.s. non EU).
 
 
Combined Shipments:
We offer to combine 2 orders (maximum) to help the customer when he forgets something in a first order then place a second order. To allow this, the customer must add the Free Shipping service in second order (available in the Service section) to enable free shipping during checkout. That service is 0.35€ which is meant to cover the cost of the second paypal transaction. The customer must fill the first order # in the order notes.
We can't combine orders if the above isn't fulfilled. The 2 orders might be packed and shipped together but the extra shipping cost will not be refunded. It is impossible to combine orders once the shipping process has started for the first order.
[As per January 2016 we have discontinued this system afer it has been largely abused. If you place several orders in a short time, they might (or might not) be combined in the same parcel. Extra shipping will not be refunded for accountancy reasons]
 
 
Cancellation:
As the article L121-16 of the french consummer code stipulates, the customer has 7 days to send the goods back (at his own charge) and to claim for a refund. Shipping is not refundable. Order cannot be cancelled through the website. Once validated and payed, orders will be processed and shipped. If you ordered by mistake, contact us quickly. An order can be returned only after contacting us FIRST. Returned article must be untouched and un-used.
 
 
Dispute:
Any order equates to the complete agreement to Plecter Labs General Conditions & Terms. Plecter Labs will volunteer to the best possible arrangement in the case of a dispute about a product (price, terms, product feature) before submitting the case to the responsible French Commerce Tribunal.
