Modern macOS or windows sometimes require the digital signature of the app. In case of unsigned app loaded warning, adjust your OS settings to accept "foreign software" on this computer. RICE app is "portable" and doesn't use any installer, hence should be fine with non-admin machines. To install, unzip and simply copy the app folder to your preferred location on the hard drive. On Mac, drag the App contents to your Application folder.
(The M1 version above should be retro-compatible to 64-bit Intel Mac machines)
