I'm an electronic engineer and my daily job is about designing hardware electronics for live performance, stage application and gesture capture / motion recognition.

Back in 2005, I stumbled upon the universe of illuminated sabers when I was looking for some info about EL wire for a contemporary dance costume. I then decided to build my first saber in october 2005, and further discovered the numerous forums about SW, props, costuming... and saw there was not a lot of electronic specialists in this field, virtually nothing in France, compared to the USA. I therefore decided to bring my own stone to the saber community, sharing my skills and knowledge of my job and background and proposing specific and hard-to-find hardware /parts through my e-shop.

As a result, the specific Saber Sound Board called Crystal Focus was born and evolved since then, giving birth to a complete product range dedicated to illuminated sabers and blaster props. Our products are designed and manufactured in France, in our worshop, and with Industrial techniques, tooling and equipment.

We are located in the South of Essonne, roughtly 40 km from Paris, France. Our products are now retailed by Elegant Weapons (FR), JQ Sabers (UK) and The Custom Saber Shop (USA).
