How does the sound module work ?

We have designed from scratch a hardware capable of playing digital sounds in the one hand, and to analyse and recognize saber gestures on the other hand. Data from an on-board sensor are analysed in realtime and compared with prototypes of gestures we created. According to the gesture the system has recognized (a swing or a clash), the corresponding sound is played. The system can be setup so that the module's sensitivity is adapted to your fighting style. The setup is achieved using a simple USB SD card reader.
